My Grandchild Matthew

Matthew arrived in August, near my birth day. It was another celebration, my second grandchild.


He is his father’s image except for the eyebrows and the eyes which comes from his mother, such a lovely baby, not a colic baby. He is very observant, quietly absorbing people and things around him.Caring for him is not difficult. I love to cuddle him!

My First Grandchild

June 26, 2007 was a great event for me. Leila Kayelle was born to Agnes and my son Harold.

I am blessed with a baby girl, after waiting for so many years of having a girl of my own, Kayelle compensates for the long, longing years of waiting.

Kayelle was so delicate looking that I was afraid to hold her the first time.
She's an mirror image of her mother, but the eyebrows are definetely her father's.

I was her nanny for a week, what a great week for me, getting acquainted
with little Kayelle. I took to bathing her, giving her the Vit D that she needed from the abundance of the rays of the sun, feeding her and the things she needed as an infant.

I was back to the days when I would have very little sleep, but that didn' matter.
I was awake the moment Kayelle cried, either hungry or wet or because of some discomfort.

It was a very good week for me knowing Kayelle.
