All grandparents are proud of their grandchildren if they have done something the first time; if they've have done positive things no matter how awkward it can be, coming from a child, it is so refreshing.
Following up the growing up years of my four grandchildren, Leila Kayelle and Matthew Naven, Alec Xander, Miguel Tre, is something very delightful to a grandmother.
